Inflammation is the body’s immune system protecting the body. When we get hurt, the body reacts by using inflammation to protect the cells. We want our bodies to be able to have a good inflammation response, but when there is too much inflammation, our bodies can start to have some adverse effects.

Acute vs. Chronic Inflammation

Acute inflammation is the natural reaction process when we get a cut or an injury to our body. Acute inflammation will not stay for an extended amount of time. How We Heal from Chronic Inflammation

If you are diagnosed with one of the conditions above, we take a look to see if there is any underlying problem within the body. Chronic inflammation is a common problem for many patients that we see at Puckette Integrative Healthcare. We look at source of the inflammation so that your body can begin to heal. Nutrition is useful in combating chronic inflammation, and there is no standard supplement protocol for patients. Looking at each patient individually and creating a plan that is unique for them and their body is the best way to handle chronic inflammation. Adjustments will also be used alongside nutrition because increased stress levels can also be a cause of inflammation, and adjustments assist the body in releasing some of this stress.
